En qu\u00eate de <strong>labyrinthes souterrains<\/strong>, ils furent attir\u00e9s par une cavit\u00e9, entour\u00e9e de stalactites et stalagmites, dont l&rsquo;exploration r\u00e9v\u00e9la un vaste r\u00e9seau souterrain \ud83d\ude31.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Martel d\u00e9dia une grande part de sa vie \u00e0 parcourir <strong>les gouffres et les grottes de France<\/strong>, s&rsquo;imposant comme un pr\u00e9curseur de l&rsquo;exploration sp\u00e9l\u00e9ologique. Sa sacoche fut oubli\u00e9e dans un taxi, r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9e par un passager suivant, un riche \u00c9cossais qui s&rsquo;int\u00e9ressa aux plans et investit pour ouvrir<strong> ce fameux gouffre<\/strong>. En 1899, les premiers visiteurs furent guid\u00e9s \u00e0 travers le gouffre, et depuis des millions de personnes ont explor\u00e9 ce site <strong>exceptionnel<\/strong>. Les visiteurs peuvent descendrent en descendant 70 marches et acc\u00e9dant \u00e0 la<strong> rivi\u00e8re souterraine<\/strong> situ\u00e9e en dessous. De l\u00e0, en avant pour d\u00e9couvrir les cavit\u00e9s en bateau \u00e0 travers un <strong>labyrinthe de grottes<\/strong> et de <strong>cours d\u2019eau<\/strong>.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un moment fort de la visite est la <strong>salle du grand d\u00f4me<\/strong>, une immense salle mesurant 94 m\u00e8tres de long, 48 m\u00e8tres de large et 75 m\u00e8tres de haut.
